Dr. Nadrat Nuhu is a compassionate and dedicated licensed clinical psychologist and board-certified behavior analyst with a deep commitment to helping children and young adults thrive. She specializes in providing both diagnostic and therapeutic services for a variety of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, behavioral challenges, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delays. Dr. Nuhu is particularly skilled at working with individuals who may engage in challenging behaviors, such as verbal or physical aggression, self-injury, elopement, and other disruptive behaviors.
Using a thoughtful approach, Dr. Nuhu focuses on understanding the unique needs of each client and their family, developing personalized interventions that promote lasting change. She is passionate about creating a supportive environment that addresses the environmental factors impacting behavior, and she works closely with families to help them navigate the next steps for seeing change in daily life. Her services also include parent consultation and social skills training, ensuring that both individuals and their families feel empowered.
Dr. Nuhu’s educational journey includes a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Agnes Scott College and a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Auburn University. She honed her expertise during her internship and postdoctoral fellowship in Health Service Psychology through Emory University School of Medicine. Her career began as an Assistant Professor at Emory University and a Licensed Psychologist at the Marcus Autism Center, where she assessed and treated developmental concerns and challenging behaviors in youth.
When she’s not working, Dr. Nuhu enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, tending to her garden, and experimenting with new bread recipes in the kitchen.
